Join us as we dare to live greatly

Where in your life would you like to be more brave?” ~ Dr. Brené Brown

According to Brené Brown, in order for us to experience connection we need to tell our story with our whole heart. We need the courage to be ourselves but to do this, we must learn to be as compassionate with ourselves as we are with others.  We need to embrace our stories and be willing to share them with those we trust.

Please join us on October 8th and connect with Dr. Carolyn Anderson and others who are passionate about learning to live brave.

Dr. Anderson of Discover Brave is a certified Daring WayTM facilitator.  She has had a private practice in Calgary for 25 years before joining the Mount Royal University Social Work faculty as an Associate Professor in 1998.   She has an established and illustrious background in clinical and community development aimed at understanding and supporting the vulnerability, courage, worthiness, shame and resilience through her work with women-in-transition, the GLBT  and survivors of childhood trauma.

Dr. Anderson will support us to explore the ideas of scarcity, finding your track, working through transitions and “permission slips”.  You will leave with new connections, provocative ideas and real tools to help you be take the first steps towards living a braver life.

Please register today and consider bringing a friend!

Tickets are $115 per person (snacks, lunch and wine included) /or/ $130 per person (includes Brené Brown’s Daring Greatly book).
