One of Elli Jesperson’s favourite quotes reminds her that we each have a lot of offer and give. Elli is the owner of Small Flower Floral Studio and she’s making a big impact in her beautiful shop on 17th Avenue in Calgary. Filled with fresh flowers and hand crafted items, Small Flower supports over 17 local artisans.
Elli shared her talent for floral arranging at our May gro CREATIVE event. Using the spectacular peony flower, each person created a unique arrangement. Elli’s reminder that it “doesn’t have to be perfect to be great” shone through as each floral creation came to life.
The event was a reminder that we see what we focus on. Our gro CREATIVE session was another purposeful and fun opportunity for members to see things differently, learn something new and make connections with others. It was also a wonderful opportunity to express our creativity through flowers.
