CREATIVE Collective

We are hosting a CREATIVE collective to showcase various inspiring products, activities, ideas, businesses to motivate you to gro and foster all dimensions of your whole health.   There will be hands-on learning opportunities, take-aways and of course…wine 😉  And we want you to bring your friends to gro the love and enjoy this special spring night out!  Registration incentives outlined below.

EVENING FORMAT

Let’s kick off the evening with chocolate and wine!  Anne from cochu and Karla from Ruby Red Vino will guide us through some ‘hands-on’ experimentation with our palates and get the night started right!

      +           =

We will then break into groups and partake in each of three different rotating sessions where you will engage, learn and depart with your own gifts:

Conversational EQ

Michelle Hargreaves is an ICF Certified Professional Coach and Facilitator with a style that is holistic, objective and whole hearted.  Through simple ‘game play’, Michelle will show us how to play “Conversational EQ” – a deck of cards that apply neuroscience and game dynamics to help people motivate themselves to be more productive, engaged and connected.  You will be astonished at how quickly and authentically you will connect with your gro comrades during this session.  Take your own deck home to practice engaging in meaningful, real conversations with those you care about.

Terrarium-Making

Breanna Hendriks is the owner/creator of Planted Rocks, a cool local business borne out of adversity and creative thinking.  Get “dirty” and create your own terrarium to take home – a beautiful feature for your space with the proven health benefits of reduction of anxiety/stress, sharper mental focus, purified air, lowered heart rate and blood pressure name a few.

Natural skin care

Skin care is an important component of “self-care”.  Shelagh from 1912 Aromatherapy will help you create your own natural, personalized body scrub with the finest botanical ingredients: ancient sea salt, sugars, plant oils, flowers, herbs, and gorgeous aromatics. In this 20 minute session, you’ll learn a little about aromatherapy, the benefits of a body scrub, the difference between sugar and salt scrubs, and the best plant oils to use for your skin type. You’ll leave with a 60 mL body scrub and DIY recipes.

VENDOR PORTFOLIO

gro will host a series of vendors who will bring their ideas and their wares for you to browse and buy.  These vendors have been curated for you to be inspired by their creativity and support our local entrepreneurs and businesses looking to gro!
