HAPPY MOTHER’S DAY to all you moms out there gro’ing your own little people!

Today was a slow day around home with lots of downtime and creating in the kitchen.  We tried a new recipe that proved to be a crowd pleaser from ages 6 to 46… an adaptation of @tessward avocado milk from the naked cookbook.  Give it a try – it’s easy, creamy, tasty and full of brain-feeding fats for you and your little people.

Make up a batch of Kelli’s almond milk, then add:

1/2 avocado

3 to 4 tbsp maple syrup

2 tsp vanilla extract and a pinch of sea salt

Blend until smooth.  Add a little extra water to thin if you like.  Store in the refrigerator for up to 2 days.  Enjoy!
